How We Make Money

Rankings aren't for sale. No brand or store can pay to change where a model appears in our lists, what our compliance panels say, or what we write about it.

Affiliate commissions

Some "View deal" links go to stores that pay us a commission when you buy, usually a few per cent of the sale. You pay the same price either way. Every link to a store goes through a short redirect on our site (/go/…) so we can count clicks and, where we're part of a store's affiliate program, add a tracking code.

We list stores whether or not they pay us. Many of the stores we track have no affiliate program at all, and their prices appear in exactly the same way.

When two stores charge the same price

Offers are always ordered by price, lowest first, and the "best price" we show is always the lowest in-stock price we found. If two or more stores charge exactly the same price, we put the one that pays us a commission (or the higher commission) first. We never show a more expensive store ahead of a cheaper one because it pays us more.

Sponsored listings

In future, stores without an affiliate program may pay to be featured. A paid placement will always carry a Sponsored label and appear in a separate slot. It is never mixed into price-sorted lists or "lowest price" results.

What we don't do

• We don't accept payment for reviews, rankings or compliance status.
• We don't run third-party ads or tracking scripts. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies.
• We don't use pop-ups, and we don't email anyone who hasn't opted in.

Disclosure

Every page with store links shows a short note near the top saying we may earn a commission. This follows the ACCC's guidance for comparison websites.
