Buying one used
What to check on a used NCM M7
- Battery. New, it has a 912 Wh battery with a claimed 180 km range. Ask how far it goes on a charge now, and how old the battery is.
- Serial number. Check the frame number with a stolen-bike register before you pay, and get a receipt or a written bill of sale.
- Is it still legal? Make sure it has not been “unlocked” or fitted with a throttle kit: that makes it a motor vehicle. Compliance details.
- Compare with new. At $2,399 new, a used one should be clearly cheaper. A demo unit with a store warranty can be the better buy.
