Buying one used
What to check on a used Rerode R1+
- Battery. New, it has a 2880 Wh battery with a claimed 120 km range. Ask how far it goes on a charge now, and how old the battery is.
- Serial number. Check the frame number with a stolen-bike register before you pay, and get a receipt or a written bill of sale.
- Compare with new. At $6,999 new, a used one should be clearly cheaper. A demo unit with a store warranty can be the better buy.
