Editor's take
Our verdict
A light Sur-Ron-class dirt bike with 17 kW peak and 4-piston hydraulic brakes, for private land or tracks only.
Who it's for
Riders with private land or club track access wanting a light, powerful dirt bike. It isn't a bicycle and can't be registered, so it is off-road only, not for roads, paths or other public land. No minimum rider age is stated.
Alternatives
The Rerode R1 is lighter and cheaper with less power, and the Talaria Sting Pro MX5 (TL5500) is a similarly priced off-road rival.
Strengths
- 5 kW rated, 17 kW peak from a mid-mounted motor
- 4-piston hydraulic discs, 220 mm front and 203 mm rear
- Removable 2880 Wh battery, IP65, three ride modes and regen
- 68 kg
Drawbacks
- Off-road only: not registrable
- The 120 km range is at a steady 25 km/h
- About 4 hours to charge
- Price varies by seller; PEDL was cheaper than Eunorau at time of check

Legal status
Where can you ride it?
- Bicycle rules
- Not a bicycle
- Its power and speed are far beyond the 250 W, 25 km/h pedelec limits, so bicycle rules don't apply.
- Road registration
- Off-road only
- Stated by the maker or its Australian distributor. Source: au.eunorau-ebike.com.
An unregistered e-moto can only be ridden on private land with the owner's permission, or at a track or park that allows it. Riding one on roads, footpaths, bike paths or parks risks fines, and in some states the bike can be seized.
Note: Eunorau AU lists it as an off-road electric dirt bike. It is rated at 5,000 W, has a twist throttle and tops out at 95 km/h. No ADR or registration claim.
